What an AMAZING and fun day we had photographing Nicole Morrison for her senior portraits!!! The first time we met Nicole, we knew she was extraordinary. From the strength and kindness in her gorgeous blue eyes and sunny smile, we knew we were going to capture some amazing images and make a new friend. Nicole is a heptathlete extraordinaire, an animal lover, a nature girl, and a go getter. She's one smart cookie too! She's a Eureka Springs native, but recently relocated to further her goals towards a college education and pursue her athletic career.
She came back to Eureka for her portraits because this fun and quirky town will always hold a place in her heart. We had a blast visiting some of the local gardens and Victorian architecture in fashionably pretty dresses and heels. (Nicole has an eye for architecture that she got from her mom, Laura, who is a professional architect. You can see her in a few images too. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph TWO gorgeous ladies). There was even a quick visit from her boyfriend Landon. They make such a GORGEOUS couple, don't you think? We laughed so much our cheeks hurt, and at the end of the day, we went to the track for some athletic portraits. This no-nonsence girl got to work jumping hurdles like a gazelle so we could capture her in mid air. (Can you believe heptathletes jump 10 hurdles in a competition? That's a lot when you're running full blast!)
The following images are all from her session with Melanie Myhre Photography. The final image is a composite we put together to honor her athletic abilities and it looks positively stunning printed on metal!
We know that you are going to continue to do amazing things Nicole, and we are so glad to have gotten to know you!
