The Path To Avalon

This is one of my favorite places in AR. The White River near Eureka Springs is a very cold river, made even colder by a generating dam. In the summer the river remains cold, and because of this, it generates it's own weather.

Emerald Myst

Emerald Myst This is one of my favorite places in AR. The White River near Eureka Springs is a very cold river, made even colder by a generating dam. In the summer the river remains cold, and because of this, it generates it's own weather. Sometimes storms will form only above the river and nowhere else. Most often, it is blanketed in a thick fog, which is a very welcome reprieve from the hot humid summers. I was visiting one day and noticed this jungle-like scene. I was enchanted by the lush deep green contrasting with the fog and it felt like peering into another world. I captured this image several years ago, but never released it because I felt something was missing from the scene I saw in person. It wasn't until I developed my painterly technique that I felt it was finally time to share. I finished the image with my signature hand-painted technique by adding subtle layers of shading and color mixing using digital software, a tablet and pen. No AI was used to create this image. Archivally printed and shipped through Saatchi Art.

Lost Valley Waterfall

Lost Valley Waterfall My favorite hiking place in AR is Lost Valley Trail, in the Buffalo River National Forest. Each bend of the trail reveals awe inspiring scenery, from 30ft waterfalls to immense bluff shelters. One day, I heard the sound of water off to my right and decided to go off the trail to investigate. I found a lovely mossy ravine filled with many little waterfalls. The trail is popular and often busy, and the summers are hot and humid. This hidden gem was a welcome reprieve from both that day. The air was cool here and the water covered the sounds of others on the trail. Hidden by the trees, it felt like being in a secret world within reach of our own. How many others had passed this spot, so close, but completely oblivious to the beauty hidden here? I wanted to convey a bit of the magic I felt here so I finished the image with my signature hand-painted technique by adding subtle layers of shading and color mixing using digital software, a tablet and pen. No AI was used to create this image. Archivally printed and shipped through Saatchi Art.

Misty Pines

Do you love dreamy peaceful landscapes? This foggy forest scene from a fairy tale was my favorite pine grove. I saw it every morning from my window in AR. It was beautiful year round; sometimes shrouded in fog, sometimes blanketed in snow, and always beautiful.

Light And Lichen

Light And Lichen Fine art landscape print. Painterly and unique. A sunlit mossy lichen glade in Buffalo River National Park, Ponca, AR. Archivally printed on fine art paper with a watercolor paper texture and full pigment inks; ensuring your print colors will stand the test of time. There is a thin white border. This archival giclee print is signed by me and is packaged in a crystal clear sleeve and shipped in a box or tube and sandwiched between protective layers. Prints are printed on demand to reduce environmental impact.

Evening On The Lake

Dreamy trees in the lake at sunset. Painterly and unique. These trees had been submerged in Beaver Lake during flooding in Arkansas. I was enchanted by the dreamy hues in this scene and how the trees had remained healthy even though they were in deep water for weeks. It felt very whimsical!
