'The Curious Crossing Into Elsewhere'
A girl walks a garden path with her companions towards a place half hidden by mist. The trees stand as silent sentinels of another realm. It feels like the edge of a dream; beautiful, strange, and calling her forward. The inspirations behind the painting merge several re-imagined memories from my experiences and include a magical late spring morning in Appalachia when I walked in a forest where snow covered the leafy green trees and flowers, and loosely interpreted memories from reading Alice In Wonderland.

'Bugle At First Light'
This was my first ever entry for the WV DNR wildlife calendar. A pair of elk stand on a ledge at first light. Frozen breath is suspended in air as the male bugles his challenge across the ridge. Snow covered trees and misty mountains stretch into the horizon behind them.

'Autumns' Gift'
A girl in red receives a gift from nature as she stands above a stream at Babcock State Park. The park is dressed in autumn glory in dazzling colors of yellow, orange and red.
