One of my favorite things about being an artist is seeing where a painting's journey goes after it leaves the easel.
I'm so happy to share that several of my original paintings have been turned into notecards, magnetic notepads, and bookmarks through a collaboration with Forever Caroline, a woman-owned small business in West Virginia that creates beautiful stationery featuring the work of Appalachian artists.
There's something I really love about knowing these paintings can become a part of people's everyday lives. They might mark someone's place in a well-loved book, brighten the refrigerator with a grocery list, or become the card that carries a heartfelt note to a friend. Art has a way of weaving itself into everyday moments, and that's a wonderful thing.
Each product starts with one of my original paintings, and in this post I've paired the stationery with the painting it came from. I hope you enjoy seeing how these images have been thoughtfully re-imagined, while preserving the colors, details, and atmosphere of the original artwork.
Working with Forever Caroline has been especially meaningful because they're a West Virginia company that celebrates Appalachian artists and believes in keeping the tradition of handwritten notes alive. In a world that's often rushed and digital, there's something special about slowing down long enough to write a note, tuck a bookmark into a favorite story, or surround yourself with little reminders of beauty.
I hope you enjoy seeing these new products as much as I've enjoyed watching them come to life. If one of them finds its way into your home or becomes a thoughtful gift for someone you love, I hope it brings a little joy every time you see it.
Thank you, as always, for supporting my work and for supporting Appalachian artists. It truly means more than you know!
