I'm pleased to share that a new original painting has been selected for The River at Parkersburg Art Center. This highly competitive biennial show is well-loved by art collectors and the regional art community. Entries were carefully selected by a highly esteemed juror and less than half of entries were accepted for the show.

About the Selection

Open to artists from WV and OH, this exhibition celebrates Americas' 250th birthday and and there will be a special award to entries matching the theme. Additionally, there will be awards for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  Purchase awards will also be given.

 'Follow The Stars Home' is a 16x20 acrylic on canvas in a wood frame. It is inspired by my love for hiking under the stars and the beauty of WV forests. It's so peaceful and magical under the stars! Have you ever gone hiking under the stars?

I enjoy creating work that invites viewers to slow down and experience wonder in everyday life. Being included in a juried exhibition at Parkersburg Art Center is a wonderful chance to connect with collectors and fellow artists and share that vision in a new setting.
