Opening Day of Best of West Virginia Show

The gallery was packed with people for the opening day of the show! We got there early so we could have lunch and get a few pictures before the show.

The art was just amazing! I loved seeing all the different styles and mediums, from oils, to photography, sculpture and more. There is so much talent in West Virginia and it was great to meet some of the talented artists.

First place winner and 'Best in Show' is 'Poseidon' by Jamie Lester of Monongalia County, WV

In second place, 'Out, In, and Around' by Vernon Howell of Cabell County, WV

Third place, 'First' by Michael Teel of Kanawha County, WV

The show runs until July 19th, so stop in. This is also the only show of the year that visitors to the gallery can vote on their favorite artwork for the People's Choice Award!
